“The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.” - Joel 3:16.
People of God should look to him for salvation The Gibeonites were saved from the destruction which their enemies had planned for them because they put their trust in God Almighty, the Lord of all the earth. They sent word to Joshua the prophet saying, “And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.” (Joshua 10:6) The Lord will certainly not be slack in keeping His promises to the faithful but will attend to them speedily. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” - Psalm 46:1.
People of God are assured of complete protection when they trust in the leadership of Christ Jesus, the Captain of the Lord's army.
On the day God Almighty will destroy the wicked an innumerable multitude would be saved by virtue of their faith in God in doing His righteousness until the end. “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.” - Revelation 7:9, 10.
