Text:“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? Or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the corner stone thereof; or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it…And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?” – Job 38:4-6, 8-11.

Comment: The most widely accepted scientific theory that attempts to explain the origin of the universe and life, is the Big Bang Theory, that holds that the universe, as we know it, started with a small singularity (a point in spacetime in which gravitational forces cause matter to have an indefinite density; associated with black holes), then inflated over the next 13.8 billion years to the cosmos (the universe) that we know today. This theory however, has no real proof, only mathematical formulas and models. That the Big Bang Theory is based on debris, sights from telescopes and scientific assumptions, is beyond all arguments as no one has actually gone beyond the earth's moon.

The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof and man, hath He made upon it. (Psalm 24:1; 1 Corinthians 10:26 &28; Deuteronomy 10:14) The Holy Bible gives a comprehensive record of how God Almighty, through His creative agent, “The Logos”, (in Greek) or “Word” (in English), created the heavens and the earth and all that dwell in them. (Genesis 1:1-31; Proverbs 8:22-30; Ephesians 3:9). If the unbelievers in the scientific community argue further, then we would appreciate if they told us where the stars that collapse, imploding into an area of such intense gravity, resulting in the formation of black holes, come from? The Holy Bible is complete in her explanations and leaves none in doubt – the heavens and the earth, came by the power of the spoken word of God. – Psalm 33:6, 9; Jeremiah 32:27,17; John 1:1-3.
