“Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another”. - Romans 14:19.
We must appreciate the fact that it is God Almighty Who gives peace. No matter what the devil may do, there can be no crisis unless He allows it. (Job 34:29; Amos 3:6) We can enjoy more of the calmness and order we now have in the larger society, if we appreciate God's goodness on us and do His will always. The people of God must continue to exhort and admonish the leaders to do things in the fear of God so “that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty” for their own blessings by the grace of God. –1 Timothy 2:2.
Everyone must recognise the rights or opinions of others as not to seek to impose one's own wishes or opinions on others. Tolerance is enshrined in the principles on which good government is established and it produces fruits of peace, harmony, happiness, unity and good neighbourliness among people. It is a virtue with which every child of God should endeavour to adorn his character.
