Text:“Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” – Isaiah 3:10.
The God Whom we serve is “ a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he”. (Deuteronomy 32:4) The Psalmist had this testimony of Him: “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.” – Psalm 84:11,12.
To further consolidate on the fact that He will never forsake the sheep of His pasture, Jesus Christ made a comparison to wit: “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” (Matthew 7:11) Earlier on, Isaiah the Prophet had asked: “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.” – Isaiah 49:15,16.
Therefore, no one should fret himself over the glamour and prosperity of evil doers because: “Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.” – Proverbs 11:21.
It is therefore imperative for us to continue in our steadfastness, not minding whether we are getting the immediate benefits or not; it is the end that matters. Our trust in God should remain firm. – Jeremiah 17:7,8.
