Text:

“Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth. Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.” - Isaiah 28:22-23

Comment:

Present day events in fulfilment of Bible prophecies, show that we are now in the age known as the end of the world, the last days or time of the end when God shall down His final decision. (Daniel 12:4,8-10; Matthew 24:3-8; etc.)

God by His truth, the saving gospel, is already judging the world through Jesus Christ, who is using his ministers to preach the gospel without lies. ( 2 Timothy 4:1; etc). The gospel serves as warning to the people of the world. Those who obey it shall be spared and saved, while those who disobey shall be destroyed at the forth-coming battle of the great day of God Almighty. - Matthew 24:14.
The punishment that will precede the utter destruction of the wicked at that day will be so severe that men shall "seek death, and shall not find it, and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them". (Revelation 9:6) The trouble of that time would be unique. There shall be no more trouble after it.  Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour  declared: "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." - Matthew 24:21. See also Nahum 1:9.

People of God should take warning now and identify themselves with God Almighty and Jesus Christ and continue steadfastly in righteousness until the end. The Bible says: “Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.” - Zephaniah 2:1-3.
